The UK customer recently received the PT-SG-AC 3.5/2.4 sample unit for evaluation and initial testing.

The PT-SG-AC is a 3.5kWh AC-coupled energy storage system with 2.4kW rated AC input/output power, designed for residential solar retrofits and flexible energy storage applications.

The PT-SG-AC combines a compact integrated design with a modular battery architecture. The host unit provides 3.5kWh of battery capacity, while additional battery units can be added to expand the system up to 21kWh.

The system uses LiFePO4 battery technology and is designed for more than 6,000 cycles at 80% depth of discharge. 

Its AC-coupled architecture makes the system particularly suitable for existing solar installations and retrofit projects, allowing installers to add energy storage without major changes to the existing PV wiring.
